Police: Suspects Run Off With Snacks

Akron detectives are investigating an early Thursday morning break-in at an Akron gas station.

It happened around 4 a.m. at the Marathon Gas Station on 2115 East Avenue.

Police said three masked suspects disabled the store alarm and forced open the front door.

The suspects grabbed gum and potato chips before fleeing on foot, according to the Akron Police Department.

The suspects are described as three males wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts, jeans and gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Akron Police Department.
