A Cuyahoga Falls man faces a number of drug charges after a parole officer found materials used to make methamphetamine.

Falls police were called to the home Thursday afternoon by the officer with the Ohio Adult Parole Authority, who was making a visit to 38 year-old Michael J. Smith of 25th Street in the Falls.

Narcotics officers say they found that the home had been used to make meth, and police took away the evidence - as well as some hazardous waste.

Michael J. Smith faces a number of felony drug charges including illegal manufacturing, assembly, and possession of meth and criminal tools.
