Bath PD Nabs Rx Script Suspect

Bath Police say a 21-year old Cleveland woman with a rap sheet and outstanding warrants picked the wrong place to try and get drugs illegally.

Victoria Jones now spending her time in the Summit County Jail after allegedly trying to pass forged prescriptions at Fairlawn-area pharmacies. It was the one at the Acme Fresh Market, on Medina Road in Montrose, that led to her undoing.

She's also wanted in Parma, Shaker Heights and Cuyahoga County on similar charges.
 
Bath Police Department news release:

Bath PD arrested Victoria M. Jones, 21, of 4111 E. 114th St., Cleveland, on Friday at 7:15 p.m. for Deception to Obtain a Dangerous Drug, a 4th degree felony. Jones was arrested at the Acme Fresh Food, 3979 Medina Rd., Bath Township.

Fairlawn PD had broadcast a look-out for a female attempting to pass forged prescriptions at four Fairlawn pharmacies. Bath Police notified the Acme pharmacy department about the activity.

Pharmacy employees notified Bath Police once the suspect entered their store and presented the forged prescription. Officers made an apprehension before Jones could leave the store.

Jones had outstanding arrest warrants from Parma PD, Shaker Heights PD, and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department for similar offenses. She was booked into the Summit County Jail.
