Wadsworth police are warning residents of a possible security scam where a man is going door-to-door claiming to represent ADT Security.

The department posted the warning on their Facebook page and say they have received several reports of a man attempting to sell home alarm services wearing a shirt with the company's logo.

Authorities are reminding residents that ADT does not go door-to-door to solicit service.

Residents can call the Wadsworth Police Department's tip line at 330-335-2769 or leave a comment on the department's Facebook page if they have seen the suspect matching the description.
