Springfield Township Burglary Suspect Arrested

A 28-year-old Springfield Township man was arrested Monday after police say he was involved with a string burglaries.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office and the Springfield Police Department started the investigation in December following several burglaries.

Authorities searched Jimmy Lee Ward home and found stolen property including jewelry, coins, electronics and a compound bow.

Ward is facing a list of charges including two counts of burglary and two counts of theft.
