The man charged with killing a Tallmadge woman and her 5-year-old son had his first appearance in court Wednesday.
The Beacon Journal reports Daniel Tighe showed up with his attorneys to go over how police evidence would be reviewed. He was arrested earlier this month and charged with murder, aggravated murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and domestic violence in the deaths of 31-year-old Wendy Ralston and her son Peyton. Tighe faces the death penalty if convicted.
He'll be back in court Nov. 6. In the meantime, he sits in the Summit County Jail unable to post his bond.
