The father of the 16-year-old craigslist suspect says his son fell under the spell of 52-year-old Richard Beasley.
Brogan Rafferty and Beasley are in custody after being accused of luring people with fake craigslist job posting.
Brogan's father, Michael Rafferty tells ABC News reporter Dan Harris that it is hard to believe that his son could be capable of this kind of crime.
Michael Rafferty says he son told him he didn't shoot anyone but did unknowingly dig some graves.
Brogan Rafferty will appear before a judge Tuesday at a hearing that could determine whether he will be moved to adult court.
