Akron Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early yesterday morning.

It happened near Grace Avenue and Copley Road around 12:30 a.m. Police say shortly after 4 p.m. yesterday, Tymaine Thompson, 20, went to Akron Children's Hospital with a gunshot wound to his foot. He was later taken to Akron General Medical Center for treatment.

Police say Darshawn Richardson was also a victim of this shooting, but there is no word on his condition.
