A Swensons employee is shot at after leaving work Thursday morning.

Akron police report the employee was robbed at the South Hawkins Street Swensons in Akron.

Police say the employee was approached by a suspect with a gun in the parking lot while walking to his car with the evening bank deposit.

The suspect fired one shot and demanded the cash. The suspect is still on the loose. The Swensons employee was not injured.
