advertisement While important to city council, school board, judicial and other candidates all over Summit County, it's a far cry from last year, when local voter turnout nearly hit 74% as the country elected a new president. Donofrio says turnout may have been even less, if it wasn't for State Issue 3.
"I definitely believe that will be a driving force for turnout," said Donofrio.

The numbers:
Polls open Tuesday morning at 6:30 and close at 7:30 in the evening.
