  With roughly two weeks left in baseball’s regular season there are two particularly interesting conference races developing with three teams within one game of each other at the top of the standings. First in the Portage Trail Conference County Division, Rootstown, Garrettsville Garfield and Southeast entered the week in a three-way tie with a 7-1 record in the league with three series left. The G-Men topped the Pirates 11-3 on Monday as seniors Bob Bright and Cody Berg both went 2-for-3 and scored two runs.   Berg also picked up a complete game victory, allowing just five hits.
