AURORA, Colo. (AP) -- Police say two people were shot outside a Colorado church while a service was ending inside.

Authorities say an off-duty officer was in the congregation Sunday afternoon when the shooting happened in a parking lot on East Bethany Drive in Aurora.

Police told CBS-4 in Denver ( http://cbsloc.al/J378zi ) that the shooting happened after there was an argument between people in two vehicles in the parking lot outside the church. They say a woman who came out of the church to see what was happening was shot, and the off-duty officer shot one of the people involved in the incident.

Details were not immediately available on the victims' identities or conditions.
