  High school principals across Ohio are voting through May 15 on an OHSAA referendum proposal aimed at competitive balance.  If approved, a formula would be used, beginning in 2013, to determine the sport-by-sport athletic count for football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball and softball. Below are the projections for football in 2013, recognizing that the actual hard count enrollment piece of the formula will change with a new, statewide survey for the OHSAA's upcoming two-year cycle (2013-14, 2014-15).
