COPLEY TOWNSHIP, Ohio – The Barberton Magics started slowly but recovered quickly and held on for an 8-4 baseball victory over Copley on Saturday. “When we don’t give things away we’re a good ballclub,” Barberton coach Jeff Saylor said. He was talking about Copley’s two-run lead in the bottom of the first off junior Jordan Cobb’s home run. “They play a lot better than we did at the beginning of the game,” Saylor said.
