TALLMADGE, Ohio – All Highland baseball coach Jeff Rollyson wanted to do this week was have his Hornets channel their inner 6-year-old. Coming into a home-and-away series with Suburban League leading Tallmadge, Highland was a game back and could put a kink in the conference standings. The only thing the Hornets needed to do was play a simple game of leap frog and they would sit on top of the league heading into the final week of the regular season. After a heart-stopping win Tuesday, Highland did just that with a 6-2 road win over the Blue Devils on Wednesday to take over sole possession of first place in the SL. Copyright 2012 SportsInk.
