Craigslist Robbery Targets Gadget Buyer

There's not an app this, but Akron police hoping citizens can help them track down two suspects in an online sale gone wrong.

Akron police report two men robbed a victim who planned on exchanging money for an iPad, that was posted for sale on Craigslist.

When the victim arrived to an East Exchange Street business Wednesday night to pick up the device, he described one of the suspects threatened to shoot him and had one hand in his pocket acting as if he had a gun.

The suspects ran to a black Chevy Bonneville and drove away.

Akron Police Suspect Descriptions:

The suspects are two black males, ages 22 to 25 years old. The first suspect might weigh between 180 to 200 pounds and stands almost 6-feet tall.

The second suspect is close to 6-feet tall as well. Police say he's thin and was wearing a black coat or hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information may contact the Akron police department.
