Green School Drama Instructor Indicted On Sex Charges

A drama instructor at Green Middle School has been indicted on charges after being found in a car parked behind a business with a 14-year old girl. Both were partially clothed.

Green Teacher Pleads Not Guilty To Importuning

The Green drama teacher accused of illegal conduct with a teen girl has pleaded not guilty.

News Channel 5 reports 27-year-old Jason Mazan of Canton pleaded not gulity in Barberton Municipal Court Wednesday to importuning charges.

The charges stem from Mazan allegedly being found in parked car with the girl behind a business on Massillon Road around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Authorities say he was found partially clothed inside a car with the 14-year-old.

Green Instructor Caught In Drama

Green Assistant Drama Instructor Jason Mazan was arrested over the weekend.

A drama instructor at Green Middle School was arrested after authorities say he was found inside a car with a partially clothed 14-year old girl.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office reports a deputy found Jason Mazan, 27, of Canton, inside a parked car behind a business on Massillon Road around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Inspector Bill Holland said Mazan is an assistant drama coach at Green Middle School.

He was arrested for importuning, a 5th degree felony, and booked into the Summit County Jail.

Mazan has since been released after posting 10 percent of his $50,000 bond.
