Lake Township Police feel that they've got the men responsible for several burglaries over the past six weeks after arresting the pair Wednesday.
A pair of men are in custody in connection with a string of burglaries in the Stark County area.
According to the Canton Repository, both 23-year old Brent Amos and 22-year old Delbert Turner Jr of Akron had allegedly burglarized a home on Bebington Street NW.
Patrols in the township were intensified in the neighborhoods where homes were broken into and residents gave the police vehicle descriptions and information on the suspects.
Wednesday afternoon police located one of the men based on the descriptions given by neighbors in the area and found the second suspect after conducting a sweep of the area.
Both are facing burglary and criminal damaging charges for the incident on Bebington Street, but could be facing additional charges pending the Grand Jury.
Police say the pair targeted money and jewelry.
