Authors:NEW FRANKLIN, Ohio – The Archbishop Hoban Knight softball team that defeated Manchester 5-3 in a sectional final on Thursday, doesn’t hardly resemble the team that took the field the last weekend of March to start the season – past wearing the same uniforms of course. Hoban owned a record of 0-4 early in April and was 6-12 roughly two weeks ago, but something special has happened to the Knights. They have found their stride at exactly the right time. Since losing to Kent Roosevelt 4-0 and Tuscarawas Central Catholic 4-2 on April 27, Hoban has won six of seven games to bring their record to 12-13. Copyright 2012 SportsInk. All rights reserved.
