Authors:Many softball fans gush about the strength of the Northeast Ohio Conference, but this season the Suburban League takes a backseat to nobody as teams reach the halfway point of the schedule. While Copley (7-0, 6-0) continues to be the class of the league, a title isn’t assured. In fact, not in the least bit as squads like Cloverleaf (14-3, 2-3), Highland (6-3, 2-2) and Nordonia (7-5, 5-2) are having strong seasons as well. Don’t be fooled by some of the records as the latter three teams have spent time beating up on each other. Copyright 2012 SportsInk. All rights reserved.
