There are thousands of children in our community who will not have the necessary educational supplies for the start of school in late August without your help. Items like backpacks and school supplies and even some personal needs. Our goal is to meet the school and basic needs of all our children…that is why we have

Beginning Saturday, July 19th and ending on Sunday, July 27th, supplies can be dropped off at the Rubber City Radio Group (1590 WAKR/ 97.5 WONE/ 94.9 WQMX) offices at 1795 W. Market St., Akron or at Ganley Ford, 2835 Barber Rd, Norton.

Saturday, July 19

A kick-off event in the front parking lot of our stations on W. Market St.
*Nickajack Farms with kids games
*Southern Thangs food truck
* Romeo's Pizza in Fairlawn
*Polar-X-Press (ice cream)
*Akron Zoomobile from 11am-1pm
* Entertainment

Supplies will be distributed to Summit County students in need by ACCESS, a non-profit organization empowering women & children in our community.
