CommunityPilgrim Church Has Rich History

It's the oldest church in Summit County -- and for its 175th anniversary, Pilgrim United Church of Christ is celebrating by giving a Lantern Tour.

Interested community members can take a tour through the rich history of the house of worship tomorrow.
From its steeple, struck twice by lightning, to the basement that once housed escaped slaves, church officials say there's a lot of stories to be heard within Pilgrim's walls.
The performance will be Saturday, October 24 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Tour donations will be accepted.
The tour is not handicap accessible.
Pilgrim Church is located at 130 Broad Blvd. in Cuyahoga Falls.
