Organizers are inviting the public to come out and show their support for the men and women that help make our country free and our community safe.

On November 9 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM our Veteran's Day Concert entitled, "HEALING OUR HEROES" will be held at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 East Washington Street, Medina, OH. The free concert will be performed by the Medina Community Band under the direction of Marcus Neiman. The concert is open to the public and free of charge.

"Our heroes are ordinary men and women that perform extraordinary acts in the service of our country and our community," said Reverend Dr. Teresa Dulyea "“ Parker, First Christian Church. "We invite people of all faiths to come and help us pay tribute to "our heroes" and the sacrifices they have made. In our small way, we hope to help the healing begin."

The concert program will feature patriotic music and short tributes by speakers representing various religions, the military, veteran's groups, and the organizing committee. Organizers will have boxes available for those interested in making a donation to collect nonperishable canned goods or monetary donations to benefit the Saint Vincent DePaul Society. Additional parking is available at 600 East Smith Road and 620 East Smith Road.
