The Medina Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, in partnership with Feeding Medina County, is hosting “Can The Cruiser” on December 13 and 14th. Please stop by Buehler’s Fresh Foods, 275 Forest Meadows Drive off Court Street/SR 42 in Medina, from 10am-2pm to help fill the Highway Patrol Cruiser with canned goods. A cruiser will be on display from 10am to 2pm Thursday and Friday, and Teddy Trooper will be on hand to greet the public on both days. On Friday, December 14th, Santa will be joining Teddy Trooper as our special guest at Buehler’s. Help fill the cruiser with food in these two days to help combat the hunger problem in Medina County. Most needed items:
Protein: Spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli, beefaroni, lasagna, stews, soups, tuna, peanut butter, etc.
Grains: Cereal (whole grain, individual), rice, pasta, dried beans
Fruits: Canned fruit/fruit cups, dried fruit (raisins, plums, cranberries), applesauce, 100% juice and juice boxes
Canned Vegetables
Kid- Friendly items: Fat free, sugar-free pudding cups, granola bars, popcorn, graham and/or animal crackers
