Former Akron Deputy mayor David Lieberth will speak at the Akron Press Club's luncheon. Lieberth retired in December as Akron's deputy mayor after 10 years. He also has been a journalist, practicing lawyer, master of ceremonies and served on nonprofit boards. He now is president of the Lieberth Consulting Group, and planning to write a book about Akron's development. Cost:  $15 for Press Club members, $20 for non-members.
