The Akron Press Club's annual book sale will be held from 8 a.m. -- 1p.m.,  Saturday,  November 5, at the Martin University Center (105 Fir Hill on the campus of The University of Akron).  Free parking is available.  Most items are priced $3 and under.  Proceeds from this event help pay for scholarships and educational outreach programs in  journalism, communications and public relations.  Donations for the book sale are welcome.  Anyone with gently used books, music compact disks or movie DVDs to contribute should contact Ron Syroid at 330.607.6811 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
