According to the Beacon Journal, a package of grants and loans worth more than $4 million from the state and city of Hudson persuaded the company to stay.

The company's general manager says they haven't laid off any workers, but have in fact hired a few more.

There are currently more than 400 people employed at Hudson's Little Tikes.

Several states including Kentucky and Oklahoma reached out to the company in an effort to get them to relocate there.

Little Tikes sits along Barlow Road.
