It's A Taylor Swift Saturday Night
Introducing the new Brooks & Dunn Tundra Tailgater; Kellie Pickler to appear on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition; Bucky is a birthday boy and Taylor Swift says hello to New York. Get the scoop on these stories inside The Nashville Minute. Rollin' With B & D -- Brooks & Dunn have been rocking it on the road for 20 years and now die-hard fans can rock it Kix Brooks & Ronnie Dunn style with the new Toyota Midnight Rider Tundra Tailgater. The one-of-a-kind pick-up was created in celebration of the duo's farewell tour next year. Check out these great features -- a pull-out grill and cooler with a cooking area, keg tap, ice chest and infrared barbecue, as well as a 42-inch flat screen TV and a sound system. It also includes a customized Brooks and Dunn license plate, silver "western" engraved door handle surrounds and black leather seats. Additional information and photos of the prototype are available at www.WorldCarFans.com.
Pickler Lends A Hand -- Look for Kellie Pickler in Sunday night's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Kellie says it's much more emotional to be a part of the show than it is to watch it on TV, but it got even more personal when she met the family "after you talk to them and you really get to see who they are and what they're about, you just become so much more attached to them and you just really want to make this home the best it can be." Extreme Makeover: Home Edition airs Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.
Blowin' Out Candles -- Happy Birthday to Bucky Covington. Bucky turns 32 on Sunday.
And finally,
Live From New York! -- Taylor Swift is ready to go for her dual roles of host and musical guest for her second appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend. On Twitter, she writes, "Starting the SNL process. I kinda feel like I might have a heart attack or pass out in the pitch meeting. I'm that excited." Taylor told MTV News, "I told all the writers, 'Don't count anything out.' I want to go completely, 100-percent in. I don't want to be halfway involved." Sounds like this will be a must watch Saturday Night Live! Tune in...it's on NBC starting at 11:30. If you can't be home to watch, set the DVR!
And that is the Nashville Minute.
