Miranda's #1 & Taylor's Fashion Goes International
The first Country Christmas CD is released, Taylor Swift shares her fashion with the world, Carrie Underwood teams up with Wal-Mart and Miranda Lambert tops the chart. Get the scoop on these stories inside The Nashville Minute. Country Christmas -- Now That's What I Call Country Christmas is in stores right now. The two-disc collection features 29 classic Christmas songs from Kenny Chesney, Johnny Cash, Kellie Pickler, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire, Trace Adkins, George Strait and others. Fashionista! -- Taylor Swift is set to tackle the international fashion world. According to MSNBC, Taylor will create designs for British retailer Marks and Spencer, which has 885 stores worldwide. Taylor already has a line of dresses in Wal-Mart stores in the US.
Carrie & Wal-Mart -- Carrie Underwood will be featured on Wal-Mart's soundcheck series on October 15th, when she'll perform songs from her upcoming CD, Play On. Also, there is word spreading on various fan blogs that Carrie will star in a holiday variety special for FOX. There has been no official confirmation from Carrie or FOX on this.
Mark Your Calendar -- The 52nd Grammy Awards will take place on January 31, 2010.

It's A Revolution -- Miranda Lambert has the nation's top country album with Revolution that pushes Taylor Swift's Fearless into the number-two spot. Zac Brown Band's The Foundation drops to number-three. Jason Aldean's Wide Open and Brooks and Dunn's Number Ones and Then Some round out the Top 5.
