  Aerosmith & Bob Seger
Aerosmith done???  More Seger details

Aerosmith played a show in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates Sunday night, and a lot of folks - including guitarist Joe Perry thinks it may be the band's last show ever.  Perry told The National, "Steven really wants to go off and do some other projects.  But if Aerosmith want to be viable and deliver to the fans what should be delivered, we need to do a studio record with some new material and do a tour behind it.  That would have been standard operating procedure until about six years ago.  I know he loves to play live in front of Aerosmith, or at least I know that's what he used to love to do.  But I guess now he wants to do other things, which is fine as long as it's planned out, so the rest of the band can plan their lives around it."  Wow- if that's the end of Aerosmith - what a sour note to end on.

A few more details are available on Bob Seger's Early Seger: Volume One project.  He's working his way through archives on unreleased material he deems worthy of putting out, as well as re-working classicas from the early 70's albums Smokin' O-Ps, Back in "72 and Seven.  Early Seger: Volume One will include 10 songs, four of which will be some of the previously unreleased gems he's stumbled upon - like "Wildfire."  The album will be out November 24th in the Midwest exclusively through Meijer's stores - which are only in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.  The rest of the world can log on at www.BobSeger.com to get their copy starting November 30th.
