Ex-|Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones says he's not upset that the Zeppelin project with Jimmy Page & Jason Bonham fell through, because he's really happy with his new side group - Them Crooked Vultures, with Dave Grohl and Josh Homme.  Their self titled debut album hits stores November 17th.

Bob Seger's manager has confirmed that Seger is in the recording studio re-working some of his early stuff for a collection called Early Seger, Volume One. There's no release date, but they hope to have it out by Christmas.
