Metallica realeased a new iPhone app this week called "Tap Tap Revenge: Metallica."  Players have to tap the screen in time with teh Metallica jam that's playing - it's a lot like "Guitar Hero" or "Rock Band."

Roger Daltrey says The Who will be releasing their own version of Rock Band next year.  In a newspaper interview, He told Massachusettes' The Republican that, "There is one planned. (The idea) is fabulous.  ANything that gets non-musical people interested in music is wonderful.  In my opinion, music is our last true great freedom.  They can burn our books, they can burn our paintings, but they can't stop us from singing and making music."  Roger Daltrey will at the House of Blues with his "Use It or Lose It" tour on Tuesday night.
