Eric Clapton cancels Rock Hall show & Them Crooked Vultures debut album

Eric Clapton has dropped out of next week's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary Concerts to have a minor medical procedure for gall stones.  He'll be home recovering next weekend, and on stage in New York just isn't in the plans now.  The Rock Hall is working on a replacement.  Clapton was going to play solo, plus back Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy.  They're both still on the bill, but looking for another guitarist.

Them Crooked Vultures - the supergroup with Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and John Paul Jones - is putting out an album!  Their self-titled debut will hit stores on November 17th.
