Bon Jovi tour & Musicians against torturing

Bon Jovi played a set to thousands of fans in the parking lot of the new Meadowlands Stadium - which is still under construction - to announce that they would be the first to play the new stadium on May 26th and 27th of 2010.  The also took the opportunity to release thei US tour schedule.  The tour kicks off in February and goes through the end of July, but nowhere - NOWHERE - on this itinerary is Ohio!  The closest they're getting to us in Detroit on March 17th.  Maybe they'll hit us up in the fall?

We've all heard the stories of detainees at Guantanomo Bay being tortured with music.  Anything from AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson to Britney Spears, and the Bee Gees and the themes from Barney and Sesame Street.  They even used the Meow Mix jingle!  Well, now artists like Pearl Jam, REM and Trent Reznor are getting a group together to protest their music being used in such a way.
